As leading Paddle UK national trainers and award providers, Paddle International is able to provide both training and assessment for the full range of British Canoeing Awarding Body Leadership Awards, either on a bespoke basis for individuals, centres, organisations, clubs and groups.

BCAB Advanced White Water Leader Development Week
(includes Advanced White Water Safety)
This comprehensive 5 day training course includes 2 days covering the syllabus and content for the BCAB Advanced White Water Safety award, followed by 3 days Advanced White Water Leader Training. Includes an in depth look at leadership principles, safety and rescue strategies as well as performance skill development coaching from experienced providers and national trainers, with international white water paddling experience.
You will leave the course with a clear and structured action plan to support your journey towards assessment.
There'll also be an opportunity to gain a BCAB Personal Peformance Award if desired.

BCAB Advanced Canoe Leader Development Week
(Open Water & White Water)
​This comprehensive 5 day training course covers the syllabus and content for both the BCAB Advanced Canoe Open Water Leader and Advanced Canoe White Water Leader awards.
Includes an in depth look at leadership principles, safety and rescue strategies as well as performance skill development coaching from experienced providers and national trainers, with international experience.​
​
The week will play to the strengths of the forecasted wind, rainfall and water levels which are available, to utilise the very best venues and learning environments. We shall also aim for a night paddle and navigation exercise (as per the syllabus), which may include a camp out, depending on weather and group desires.

You will leave the course with a clear and structured action plan to support your journey towards assessment.
There'll also be an opportunity to gain a BCAB Personal Peformance Award if desired.

​This comprehensive 3 day training course covers the syllabus and content for the BCAB Advanced Sea Kayak Leader award.
Includes an in depth look at leadership principles, safety and rescue strategies as well as performance skill development coaching from experienced providers and national trainers, with international experience.​ We will also refresh the content for the BCAB Navigation modules, so you leave confident and practiced with the necessary material and techniques.
You will leave the course with a clear and structured action plan to support your journey towards assessment.
There will also be an opportunity to gain a BCAB Personal Peformance Award if desired.

The 3 days will play to the strengths of the forecasted wind, swell and tides available, to utilise the very best venues and learning environments. We shall also aim for a night paddle and navigation exercise (as per the syllabus) on one of the evenings of the course.
